The Rolex GMT Master II 116710BLNR is powered by the in-house Rolex Calibre 3186, a self-winding mechanical movement engineered for exceptional precision, reliability, and ease of use. Specifically designed for the GMT-Master II collection, the Calibre 3186 features an independently adjustable local hour hand, allowing travellers to change time zones without interrupting the movement or affecting the 24-hour hand.
The movement incorporates Rolex’s Parachrom blue hairspring, offering increased resistance to shocks, temperature variations, and magnetic fields for enhanced long-term accuracy. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), the Calibre 3186 delivers smooth performance and a 48-hour power reserve.
